Vitamin C In Skincare

Vitamin C In Skincare

If you add anything into your skincare make it Vitamin C. A powerhouse antioxidant that gives brighter, plumper, healthy skin with a more even tone. It reduces any inflammation or irregular pigmentation and promotes natural collagen production. It has the ability to regenerate and renew skin cells inhibiting the production of melanin and also fights free radicals. Here’s some of my favourite products containing this brilliant ingredient:

Indeed Labs Vitamin C24*. Being a hybrid of serum and moisturiser this combines Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Microspheres helping to brighten the skin aswell as plump. To be used as a serum step (post-cleanse and pre-moisturiser), you massage this into the skin and instantly absorbs into the skin. It does feel a little siliconey on first initial contact with the skin but this soon disappears once massaged into the skin and doesn’t affect any other products or makeup applied to the face. Priced at £24.99 for 30ml.

Kiehls Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate. With a high concentration of 10.5% Vitamin C it’s not for the fain-hearted. If you have sensitive skin this may affect you, personally it doesn’t for me but I have built my skin’s tolerance up. This is really great for reducing any fine lines or winkles and minimising pores so if this is your concern I would highly recommend. Priced at £49.50 for 50ml.

The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C which is more stable within water giving a great reason to add it into a serum. This is a great all rounder for me, I layer it with my The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid in the mornings and it gives lovely plumped and glowing skin. This will help to reduce and fight wrinkles and lines but also inject glow and radiance to the skin. Priced at £8.90 for 30ml.

The above three products are ones that I think will stay within my collection for a long time to come, I would highly recommend all three. Which Vitamin C products do you like to use? Any recommendations?
