Facial mists for me are a permanent part of my everyday beauty routine, whether that be included within my skincare routine, as a finishing touch to my makeup or throughout the day for top ups of moisture, so I wanted to talk you through my current favourites that I’ve been using on a daily basis:
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer / £15.00 200ml
This is my everyday go to facial toner for morning and night, I use this religiously post-cleanse and pre-any other skincare product. It helps to prep my skin for all other products that I apply on top of this. Containing a whole host of skin friendly ingredients such as aloe vera, calendula, chamomile, cucumber, lavender and rose-scented geranium it leaves your skin feeling suitably refreshed and soothed.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist* / £24.00 100ml
Just like the Liz Earle spritzer, I would use this in the same way but I don’t tend to use this everyday. I like to keep this for times when my skin is in need of a more nourishing and sumptuous treat as this really helps soothe my sensitive skin and adds in an extra layer of hydration for when my skin is particularly dehydrated.
Vichy Thermal Spa Water Spray / £6.99 150ml
This is just a great everyday product to keep within your skincare cabinet and also in your handbag. I use this in so many different ways, I spray it onto my makeup brushes, use throughout the day at work to freshen my face, also use throughout the warmer months on my decolletage and upper body to keep me cool but most importantly I use within my skincare morning and night. I often use this straight after cleansing my face or stepping out of a hot shower; it helps to cool and soothe my face after a shower or bath before then applying my skincare. It’s a great all-rounder and I’ll forever be re-purchasing it.
Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray* / £22.00 120ml
A relatively new addition to my makeup collection, this spray is super lightweight and being infused with light reflecting particles it helps to illuminate the skin and give a lasting luminosity whilst still keeping makeup fixed in place all day. It doesn’t feel wet or sticky on the skin, it dries and sets down completely without leaving residue behind but still manages to give a beautiful glow to the face. I absolutely love this. A weightless setting spray infused with light reflecting particles.
Rimmel Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray* / £6.99 100ml
A primer and setting spray in one. So you apply this under your makeup to begin with then and over it to help prolong and perfect your look. I really like to use this when I know I’ll be wearing a full face all day as it does genuinely make my makeup last all day and night. A great option for anyone looking to pick up a setting spray.
And that’s it, my current favourite facial sprays for skincare, makeup and also a multi-tasker thrown in for good measure. I’d love to hear if you have any recommendations for me!
