Sleek Distorted Dreams Collection

Sleek Distorted Dreams Collection

Following on from the SS17 runway highlighter trends Sleek have created a new collection for their brand in the form of IRL unicorn duo-chrome goodness. Within the collection is the Highlighter Palette* and 3* new metallic shades to their Matte Me Liquid Lipstick range.

Within the palette are 3 cream highlighters (peach, blue and green) and 2 powder highlighters (gold and pink). The formula of the cream highlighters is very smooth and buttery but I did have to build the layers up to give a good payoff when swatching For the powders they’re not as finely milled as what I would like from my highlighters but still nonetheless great value for money. I really loved the gold, peach and pink shades from this palette purely because they’re more wearable than the blue and green, I can’t imagine my office manager would be too impressed if I rocked up to work with green highlight on! But for the upcoming festival and holiday season I think this palette would be a great companion as they are suitable for eyes, lips and face so you could really create a bold holographic look with this. Priced at £10.99 you can pick it up from Boots, Superdrug and even online here.

Also within the collection are these 3 new shades to the Matte Me Liquid Lipstick range. I have to say these really remind me of the Jouer metallic lip toppers for a fraction of the cost! Going from top to bottom on the swatches, we have:

Rusted Rose (a frosty pink/plum shade)

Roman Copper (almost a little rose gold, very pretty warm toned amber shade)

Volcanic (a frosty muted purple shade)

I really quite like these lipsticks and have been loving wearing them on my eyelids rather than actually on my lips. They create a beautiful metallic sheen to the lids that when blended with a fluffy brush look like multiple colours all blended together. Priced at £4.99 each you can pick it up from Boots, Superdrug and even online here.

What do you think of this collection? Have you tried it?
