On Trial: Revuele Charcoal Range

On Trial: Revuele Charcoal Range

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the charcoal peel off masks that are doing their rounds at the moment. Not only is the novelty a really fun aspect, genuinely the satisfying feeling off peeling the mask off is like nothing else, but also the skincare benefits that can come from using charcoal within your routine is definitely something to think about.

On Trial: Revuele Charcoal Range

Revuele have created their own charcoal range consisting of three products, a mask, a wash and a toning solution. And I’ve been testing out all three over the past few weeks and wanted to share my thoughts:

No Problem Charcoal Mask*

This for me is the standout product of the range. It not only helps to remove blackheads, it also helps to regulate the sebaceous glands, deeply cleanses the pores and mattifies the skin with the help of silver irons (Ag+), activated carbon and zink PCA; all of which are big players within the acne fighting battle with their antibacterial properties. I have been using this 2-3 times a week and am completely converted. I especially love to use this pre-night out at the weekends to give instantly brighter, smoother skin with a matte finish ready for skincare and makeup application. It effectively removes blackheads leaving a beautifully clear complexion. You can pick it up for £4.95 from Amazon.

No Problem 3 in 1 Exfoliating Gel Scrub Mask*

Containing a whole host of blackhead fighting ingredients this 3 in 1 wash is great for those with oily skin. My boyfriend has now claimed this as his skin is very oily so is always looking for products that help to mattify and clear the complexion without stripping. Use it everyday as a morning or evening cleanse and gently scrub the face with the activated carbon microparticles. Can also be used as a weekly mask to help deep clean the pores. Using this has made a noticeable difference to my boyfriends skin, it’s clearer and stays matte throughout the whole day when used alongside the facial toner. You can pick this up for £6.90 from Amazon.

No Problem Matting Facial Tonic*

An alcohol free facial toner to work against enlarged pores and blackheads. To use, soak a cotton pad in the solution and swipe all over the face morning and night post-cleanse and pre-moisturiser. Containing salicylic acid it is really effective at battling against blackheads and blemishes and silver ions to give antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. When used alongside the wash this is a really effective little duo at reducing pores and keeping the complexion clear. You can pick it up for £6.95 from Amazon.

As mentioned above my standout product from the range has definitely got to be the peel off mask, purely because of it’s immediate results. For any of you that suffer with oily skin and you want to keep it looking matte with feeling stripped or tight then the wash and tonic are definitely for you, my boyfriend has really enjoyed using them and there’s been a noticeable improvement in the quality of his skin.
