Merry Christmas! I hope the big man has been generous to you all. I wanted to bring you the products that I’ll be wearing for today’s festivities, for Christmas day I like to always wear a red lip; there’s something so festive about it that I absolutely love and it just helps to bring a little glamour to the day so the whole look is pretty centred around that.
Is it just me or is Christmas Eve literally the epitome of loungewear. Staying in all night with Christmas films on the tele and copius amounts of mulled wine, there is no way I will be moving from the sofa in my new fleecy pyjamas. There is something so cosy about Christmas Eve that just makes me want to wrap myself up in hundreds of blankets in front of a roaring fire so I wanted to bring you my favourite loungewear pieces that I have been loving and wearing throughout Winter and will also be sporting tonight.
So I was going to be doing a string of these gift guide style posts but I ended up unwell and haven’t posted any of the ones that I wanted to so thought I would combine everything into one for an ‘ultimate’ gift guide. I have separated the post into beauty, accessories and homeware and also separate each section into under £25.00, £50.00 and £100.00 so hopefully there is something for everyone.
Now that the party season is in full swing and we’ve enjoyed a few too many Proseccos on the dance floor we still need to keep in mind our skin and hair the next morning. Alcohol, full coverage makeup and the weather all contribute throughout December to a decline in hair and skin condition, at least for myself anyway. So I like to combat this post-party with the following products.
“The following may lead you to wonder. That’s really what philosophy is—wondering. Philosophy is for those
who are willing to be disturbed with a creative disturbance. Philosophy is for those who still have the capacity for wonder”.
Alas Philosophies new holiday collection is here ‘The Land of Hope & Wonder’ and it is p-retty wonderful. The collection of Hope & Wonder is “where dreams and wishes come true”, a truly beautiful collection perfect for gifting to anyone special in your life or even as a pampering treat for yourself. I love the whole feeling around this collection, for me it’s everything that Christmas embodies. The only time of year where all dreams can come true, a season for perpetual hope, a time where it is acceptable to believe in fairy tales and not only believe but live it.
The collection includes numerous gift sets, the beloved shower gel/bubble bath/shampoos and the Amazing Grace Eau De Toilette. Within the gift sets are a a range of skincare, body care and fragrance products. It’s a truly beautiful collection with a beautiful meaning. Perfect for the festive season:

Happy shopping and Merry Christmas!
Morning you lovely lot. I’m sorry it has been a little quiet around these parts for the past week or so but I have been really poorly with tonsillitis and am still fighting off the remnants of it now; but this has thrown my whole blogging everyday throughout December ‘thing’ right off. So I’ll be putting up as many posts as I can for the rest of December from now on, I hope this is ok.
Winter is absolutely without a doubt one of my most favourite times of the year. Firstly it’s Christmas and secondly I can wear my most favourite types of scent, the heady masculine aromas that make me feel so cosy and comfortable. I have three perfumes on rotation at the moment all of which are perfect for this time of year.
