2016 has been a year for me of perfecting a capsule collection for all my beauty products. Gone are the days of having 10 different foundations, 10 different facial oils and 10 different red lipsticks, it’s pointless. So I have been spending the year really trying to whittle my collection down to only the best for my skin and needs, so here’s my favourites from the year.
There’s been many a new brand and product launch throughout 2016 but I wanted to highlight three brands that I am really excited about for 2017. Being a mixture of makeup, skincare and haircare brands I hold them quite close to my heart as that is my real passion so I wanted to give you a little background about the brands and the products that they offer.
Merry Christmas! I hope the big man has been generous to you all. I wanted to bring you the products that I’ll be wearing for today’s festivities, for Christmas day I like to always wear a red lip; there’s something so festive about it that I absolutely love and it just helps to bring a little glamour to the day so the whole look is pretty centred around that.
Is it just me or is Christmas Eve literally the epitome of loungewear. Staying in all night with Christmas films on the tele and copius amounts of mulled wine, there is no way I will be moving from the sofa in my new fleecy pyjamas. There is something so cosy about Christmas Eve that just makes me want to wrap myself up in hundreds of blankets in front of a roaring fire so I wanted to bring you my favourite loungewear pieces that I have been loving and wearing throughout Winter and will also be sporting tonight.

So I was going to be doing a string of these gift guide style posts but I ended up unwell and haven’t posted any of the ones that I wanted to so thought I would combine everything into one for an ‘ultimate’ gift guide. I have separated the post into beauty, accessories and homeware and also separate each section into under £25.00, £50.00 and £100.00 so hopefully there is something for everyone.
Now that the party season is in full swing and we’ve enjoyed a few too many Proseccos on the dance floor we still need to keep in mind our skin and hair the next morning. Alcohol, full coverage makeup and the weather all contribute throughout December to a decline in hair and skin condition, at least for myself anyway. So I like to combat this post-party with the following products.
