Sometimes you just need to take out a little time to relax and pamper yourself, we live such hectic and busy lifestyles that an hour here or half an hour there can really help to relax our minds and de stress. I find it really difficult to switch off, my mind is always racing about what work I have to do with work and blog stuff. I’m also trying to start up my own business this year for an online shop so the cogs are constantly turning, but I’ve been using the following select products which have really been helping to settle my mind and relax my body.
Just how fast is this year going? I swear it was only Christmas like 2 weeks ago. This month’s favourites are based mostly around streamlining my skincare. I have been having a real clear out recently of my products so have using up and re discovering products within my collection and these have pretty much come from that.
So now that Spring is in full flow I have been switching up my heavy Winter bases for a lighter, fresher tinted moisturiser type product. When it comes to base products you guys know I love a good dewy finish and a dewy finish to me shouts Spring, fresh faced and natural beauty so I wanted to share you my favourite bases for this time of year:
So I recently did a vote on Twitter as to whether you guys would rather see a recipe post, a Lush haul or a Spring makeup look and you chose a Lush haul…so here it is.
I’ve been having a real Lush moment recently, 6 months ago I couldn’t stand the place, just walking past the store would give me a headache but now I am completely addicted. One of the main reasons I love the brand so much is because of it’s natural ethos, they do a lot to help the world and environment and don’t test any products on animals. I have found myself really moving away from the mainstream Boots brands for my skincare and using a lot more natural brands. For one because I am a lot more conscious now more than ever of what I’m putting into my skin and two because these brands actually make a worthwhile contribution to society, the world and the environment, which if you ask me is pretty blummin important.
