So normally me and matte don’t usually get along. I’m much more of a creamy kinda gal…think MAC cremesheen, that kind of finish but recently I’ve been loving the whole liquid lipstick look and have seen some great reviews about these newbies so decided to give them a go.
Recently I have been massively getting into micellar waters, I use them morning and night pre and post cleanse. I tend to sweep a cotton pad soaked in this special water as soon as I wake up in the morning to remove anything that has settled onto my face overnight and then also after cleansing to remove any leftover residue from my cleanser. So I wanted to bring you my top three that I loved using.
It’s that time again, the monthly favourites and this month I have been trying to use up loads of products so have been getting a lot of use out of certain items which have turned out to be real favourites this month. So here they are:
I’m just gonna start by saying I absolutely blummin love this stuff. The concept, the ingredients, the results…I just love everything. In essence this is basically a bath bomb for your face that when cool can be decanted into an empty spray bottle and used as a toner.
Recently I’ve been having a real spring clean with my beauty stash, I’ve been using up loads of products that I feel pretty meh about so they’re out of my life and cupboard giving a more streamlined collection which has left me with a couple of holes in my stash for some newbies.
Fresh is a brand that I haven’t really tried all that many products from so when I spotted this when I was in NYC I thought I would give it a go, I like most people in this country a good set of soft smackers so anything to do with lips I am always instantly sold.
For Christmas 2014 I was bought my own UV lamp to do my own gel nails which I absolutely loved, I was doing my own gel nails every couple of weeks and so pretty much threw out all of my nail polishes as I just didn’t see a need for them but over the past 6 months or so I have been having a reaction to either the lamp or shellac resulting in sore, itchy and red blisters on the tips and cuticles of my fingers which were really painful. Thus meaning that I have now started to invest in slightly more premium nail polishes, which is how I have fell in love with Essie.
