So it’s the time for January favourites, the first month of year 2016 is over and it went just as fast as all the others. A lot of people dislike the month of January, there’s never anything happening, no one has any money and it’s just a bit of a deflated month after the festive season but I actually really love January. It’s a new beginning, a chance to start some resolutions and make this year a positive one. I’ve been trying out a couple of new products this month and have really loved some of them, here’s my favourites:
You know me and my voluminous hair, I love a good bit of bounce so am forever in search of the perfect shampoo and conditioner duo so when I spotted this little set in Marks & Spencer I knew I just had to try it. With some of my favourite bloggers raving about Living Proof I thought it would be a worth a try so picked it up and well, I’m in love. The set includes the following:
I remember the days when the Boots Advantage card was released and it felt like I had my very own piece of plastic in my purse, I’d pull it out in store like some kind of gold AMEX card feeling like thee bomb’ now they just fly around everywhere and not even in beauty stores, there’s the Boux Avenue card, Sparks card, My Waitrose card, Accessorize card…they’re all over the place but today I wanted to bring you my favourite beauty loyalty cards.
Collection cosmetics have seriously upped their game with these palettes. With three palettes in the range, Nude, Nude Grey and Nude Bronze, all three pretty much make up the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I picked up the Nude Bronze palette and tell me tell you, I am seriously impressed with the quality considering they are sold for £3.99! The packaging lets face it isn’t the most luxurious, it’s cardboard but it does the job and looks pretty darn sleek with it’s black casing.
I was having a tidy out of my lipstick collection the other day and really whittled it down to the lipsticks I know and love, all others have been re homed to loving owners, and I found myself thinking I really don’t need a massive collection of lipsticks. When I think about it, there is only a small handful of lipsticks that I genuinely really love and wear so I thought I would do a little post showcasing the three lipsticks that if I had to, could live with just these ones.
